#6: Nokia N97 vs Sony Ericsson W995

So, I'm now using the Nokia N97 instead of my old Sony Ericsson W995. It's not the mini version of N97 though.

I got the Nokia few weeks back. It's not exactly new because my dad has been keeping the phone for the past 1 year, so, it's not really old either. He has never used it too.

Sooooo.

Nokia is definitely NOT user friendly. Ever since I got this Nokia, I got lazier to text probably because it's: 1) touch screen 2) the keyboard is so..weird because I'm used to using normal keypad 3) I'm just lazy.

Using Nokia makes me feel like a businesswoman. Woots.

Sony Ericsson and other normal phones are so much easier to text, and their function is more..obvious? I think it's because I've been using Sony Ericsson since 2005 so, I'm used to it. I've used Nokia before, but that was ages ago.

Plus, it's so much smaller and thinner!

However, both phones cost more than RM1k each, so, I guess I've to give and take. I can't expect phones to be perfect! What to do, I'm always expecting perfection, when perfection doesn't exist in the world.

Overall, I like both phones.

Plus points for Sony Ericsson:
- small
- 8.1mp camera! (OHHH. so I don't need to bring a camera with me! make my bag lighter ;p)
- normal keypad
- 3G
- wifi
- walkman ;p

Plus points for Nokia:
- wifi &I can check in anytime and it doesn't take forever to load 1 Foursquare page
- white!
- keyboard
- touch screen (I'm neutral actually =/)
- 5mp camera

I guess that's all (:

I think having a touch screen phone really make me feel like throwing the phone away instead of texting because I'm a texting person and texting can cost a bomb. &I can't control the amount of texts I send. I suck at that.

So, kudos to Nokia N97 :D
